Meet the CEO
Dear Guests,
On behalf of Vista Hospital of South Bay, allow me to welcome you to our website. Whether you are a patient, employee, supplier, or otherwise, we have designed our website to be user-friendly and to help accommodate your needs.
Vista Hospital of South Bay is 54-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). An LTACH is a fully licensed acute care hospital that maintains an average length of stay of at least 25 days. An LTACH specializes in the interdisciplinary, physician-led treatment of patients with catastrophic or acute illness/injury superimposed on complex or multiple co-morbidities. Vista Hospital of South Bay is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program and its laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission.
The hospital provides the following services to its patients and the community: Nursing, Cardiopulmonary, Surgery, Clinical Laboratory, Radiology, Wound Care, Pharmacy, Food & Nutrition Services, Rehabilitation Services, Case Management, and Social Services.
We promote a healing and nurturing environment at Vista Hospital of South Bay, responding to the medical, physical, psychological, and social needs of our patients. Treatment is tailored based upon each patient’s medical condition and needs. Our entire team from our healthcare professionals and medical staff, to the Governing Board, is working together to ensure that quality health care is available to our community.
I encourage your comments and input and look forward to working closely with you.
Warm Regards,
Kevin Chavez
