Vista Hospital of San Gabriel Valley is a Long Term Acute Care Hospital, or LTAC, for short. We serve the needs of acutely ill medically complex patients whose condition is such that a hospital stay of about 30 days is likely. We evaluate every potential patient at no cost to the patient to determine whether the patient meets the Criteria for admission to a LTAC hospital. Typically, potential patients are referred to Vista Hospital of San Gabriel Valley by a physician who is managing the patient at a short term acute care hospital.
