Bennie L. Montgomery RN, BSN is the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Vista Hospital of Riverside. She has been a registered nurse for over 21 years in the clinical practice areas of Emergency Trauma, Level 1 Designation and CVICU Open Heart Recovery.

Bennie graduated from Old Dominion University, Norfolk Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing. Her 21 years of experience have evolved in the following arenas: Trauma and Cardiovascular Thoraic Nursing, quality assurance/utilization review, data analysis, and acting Director/Manager in the clinical setting. Her greatest reward in nursing was to find herself precepting a new nurse at the bedside. Educating new and experienced staff has always been a memorable and rewarding experience.

Bennie is recognized as a results oriented leader who consistently finds creative solutions to complex issues. She is valued in her nursing career as a key leader within the organization for openness, honesty, and her objectivity in personal and professional areas for growth.
