Paul Smith received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business and Public Administration from the California State University in 1975.  He has over thirty years experience managing the finances of “for-profit” and “not-for-profit” hospitals.  After seven years in Saudi Arabia, Paul returned to the United States and passed the Fellowship Exam for the Healthcare Financial Management Association in 1995.  Paul subscribes to the values driven, customer focused healthcare organization.  He is committed to use his expertise in healthcare finance to translate the mission, vision and values ideals of Vista Riverside Hospital into the daily operations of the hospital and to our employees and patients.  He has demonstrated excellence, ethics and integrity in financial reporting through completion of audits and participation in corporate compliance committees.   His focus is to develop creative ways to improve financial performance and maintain target budget goals.
